Achieving The Objective

The Natick Soldier Systems Center Business Alliance seeks to achieve their objective through a number of steps. Among the most vital tasks is to educate both citizens and elected officials alike to the capabilities of the Natick Soldier Systems Center. In addition, the Alliance will illustrate why Massachusetts, and New England, is the ideal location for a facility charged with the duties Natick Labs is and, moreover illustrate why moving the departments within the Natick Labs would be detrimental to the success of the duties performed therein.

The Natick Soldier Systems Business Alliance shall perform the following functions:

  • Illustrate the capabilities of the Natick Soldier Systems Center and draw a distinct connection to the criteria set forth in the BRAC of 2005.
  • Cultivate a relationship with the community to promote the benefits of the Soldier Systems Center and it businesses in order to gain constituent support.
  • Provide businesses, united by a common interest in the preservation of the Soldier Systems Center, with an open forum for discussion.
  • Bridge the Soldier Systems Center to the businesses in a tangible manner in order to sustain the professional relationships therein.
  • Make available a forum in which business leaders can express concern and encouragement alike in order to strengthen the message of the Alliance.
  • Identify both the strengths and weaknesses of the Center when measured against the BRAC criteria in order to craft the most effective message possible.
  • Promote the common business interests of the Alliance members with a uniform message and a united voice.
  • Craft the message of the business interests in an effective, timely and professional manner, making use of input by all members and disseminating the message accurately and diligently.
  • Gather information for members so that the businesses working with the Soldier Systems Center Business Alliance are able to make well-informed decisions.
  • Provide information to government and parties interested in the Soldier Systems Center.
  • Develop a specific strategy for recruiting support within the government , both local and federal.
  • Create a well-rounded Alliance with the ability to produce results and benefit the individual businesses, as well as the entity as a whole.
